Our Story
Welly is a passion project between two cousins, Jennifer and Cindy Yang.
We believe that an immersive approach to language learning is the most impactful. More importantly, in creating a positive experience, we will help foster a lifelong curiosity for the Chinese language and culture.
Jennifer, the Chief Content Creator, teaches Chinese through music, science and art to Kindergartners in San Francisco. Her specialties are felt toys and creative play prompts.
Cindy, the Chief Advocate, loves education so much, she quit her job and went back to school, getting a Masters in Education from Harvard. When she’s not promoting Welly, she is launching play-based apps for kids.
Glory, the Head Illustrator, is a Taiwanese painter and printmaker. Her art is inspired by her imagination and everyday life experiences. She is a natural storyteller who has published three picture books.
